Dodger was founded in Fort Dodge, Iowa in 1940 as Dodger Gym Company and produced gym clothing for school physical education programs.
In 1962, the company was purchased and relocated to Eldora, Iowa. The privately held company has been known as Dodger Industries, Inc since 1988.
Dodger products such as the Fleece Lace Up Hood are durable, quality, soft garments.
In 2010, Dodger Industries, Inc. was acquired by The Greene Company of Virginia, a certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise with the State of Virginia with the goal of providing Dodger broader financial and manufacturing capabilities and competitive pricing with a focus on core products.
Dodger’s core products include wholesale athletic apparel – athletic shorts and shirts along with strong fleece apparel. New core products have been developed and added such as our Moisture Management Dodger-Dri polyester fleece.
Dodger is known as the “shorts” company. We continue this tradition and enhance it with strong fleece offerings along with other selected categories that we feel will provide value to our customers and business partners.
Dodger’s In Stock Program provides immediate shipping as all styles are warehoused in multiple sizes and colors including shorts, jerseys, tees, fleece and poly fleece apparel.
Along with the In Stock Program, Dodger offers knit and fleece apparel for its Private Label Customization Program. This 
program offers manufacturing of sports apparel with the customer’s private label. Also available is manufacturing according to the customer’s specifications of style, color and size.
